Giro Engineering Ltd specialise in the design and manufacture of single skinned and double skinned, “Duoline”high pressure fuel injection pipes. We provide bespoke sheathed and unsheathed fuel pipe “systems” for a vast range of diesel engines.
Giro’s design team utilise class leading computer software to create products that are compliant with the latest SOLAS regulations. Our products are type approved by Lloyds Register of Shipping (LRS) and accepted by all other major classification societies including ABS, DNV and Bureau Veritas.
In addition, we boast a closed loop quality system conforming to ISO9001/2008 (Certificate No 932219) audited by LRQA. Giro’s attention to detail is endemic throughout the Company, we are extremely proud of our product documentation and traceability which has proved invaluable over the last 30 years.
Giro’s product range now covers more than 1000 different engine types, our key component is the “Duoline” sheathed fuel pipe, often referred to as a jacketed fuel line or even a twin walled fuel pipe, this product is complemented with our visual leak indication fittings and our proven liquid level alarm tank.
The common rail diesel engine provides better economy, lower emissions and of course, higher fuel pressures! Giro has developed a wide range of ultra high pressure, common rail, fuel injection pipes for this ever changing market. Many of these systems offer the complete package including sheathed fuel injection pipes, sheathed supply and return pipes, all required bracketing, ancillary pipe work, leak indicators and fluid management linking in to the liquid level alarm tank.
Cleanliness is one of the key elements on any fuel system; especially the common rail engine. Through steady investment Giro has installed a range of cleaning and flushing equipment all housed in a clean room environment, this enables us to satisfy the most stringent OEM cleanliness standards.
